A&R Technical (formally A.Radichio Services) has been installing and servicing heating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment on Long Island since 1972. In 1985 Art Radichio contracted to Spectronics Corp. of Long Island and pioneered the art of Ultraviolet Leak Detection within the HVAC&R fields. A&R commercial accounts and facility associates (LILCO, Winthrop Hospital, A&P Super Store, Port Washington Flowers, and Manhasset Flowers etc.) that had refrigerant leaks were some of the first successful test prior to product availability. CNN produced an Ozone awareness video with footage from the above accounts. After field testing  and in house testing Spectronics Corp. introduced a very successful Ultraviolet Leak Detection product, which made locating refrigerant leaks very easy and reduced the amount of CFCs entering the stratosphere.

A&R Technical has been training technicians within the A/C, Refrigeration and Heating industries since 1986, various trouble shooting courses, EPA test preparation and testing.

We are and have been a small operation and plan to stay that way which affords us to give our existing  customers a prompt response to any service requests.
